WHAT'S NEW!

Earring & Pendant Pads

Securing earrings and pendants into pouches has always been tricky. When earrings are inserted into a pouch, they clank to the bottom and jostle around each other, sometimes causing damage to delicate pieces.

For years, we have somewhat mitigated this issue by sewing compartment dividers into pouches.

Additionally, when removing earrings and pendants from pouches, they are usually poured into the palm of a hand. O
ccasionally, they take a spill. Additionally, this pouring wouldn't be considered an elegant presentation of your jewels.

A CLASSY SOLUTION!
We've designed a fabric-covered jewelry pad - kind of like a jewelry box pad - where earrings and pendants can be inserted to prevent damage and enhance presentations. The pads are multi-purpose:

  • The middle holes can be used for stud earrings

  • The top holes can be used for drop earrings

  • The top slits can be used for pendants

  • The top slit and middle holes can be used as a combo pad for earrings and pendants

Additionally, when used for pendants, an optional elastic band can be inserted into the middle holes to better secure the pendant.

"Soft" Pearl Folder Prototype

Have a look at a prototype of a new pearl folder we're working on. The top folder is sewn with Noir double-faced Silsuede and the pad is Fuchsia Ultrasuede ST. The bottom folder is sewn in double-faced Ivory Silkskin with a matching pad, and they measure 5.25" x 8".

One for the fashion-forward, and one for the conservative folks.

As opposed to the rigid folders on the market, this is a "soft folder" with just a thin piece of cardboard inserted into the pad to give it some body..

The thinking is this: stock outer pouch shells in black and creme, and give you the option of a different inner pad fabric - perhaps your pouch color. My wife thinks the top one is too flashy - I think it looks like a Chanel blush compact - and we are in the fashion business, Everybody! Outer boxes will be offered as an option.

We're going to make a few more prototypes, do some pricing and perhaps offer it for sale. It's not going to be cheap, I'm think. Probably offer it in multiples of 24 pieces.

Just working out the kinks!
