PROBLEMS & OPPORTUNITIES

If you are lucky, you have a big, dedicated jewelry drawer. If you are unlucky, it has a preformed, one-size-fits-all, plastic jewelry insert glued to the bottom.

This configuration isn't so good for the following reasons:

  • The insert’s compartments are never going to match the size and quantity of your jewelry pieces

  • Because the compartments are plastic, your pieces are going to slosh around, scratch and tangle within the compartments

  • Your larger items that don’t fit into the compartments – like beaded necklaces, glasses, keys, pouches and jewelers’ boxes – are going to slosh around, scratch and tangle in your drawer

OUR SYSTEM

The foundational piece of our storage and organizer system is the padded, drawer liner (#LJO-8). It is covered with 1800-thread-count, Canadian Brown dressmaker’s velvet and backed with ¼ of foam. The foam prevents the liner from slipping around in your drawer – without adhesives - and can be easily removed for cleaning. The liner measures 27” x 42”, and in most cases, it will fit more than one drawer. It can be precisely cut with ordinary scissors, or we'll cut it for you in our factory (at no charge!) if you contact us immediately after you place your order.

DRAWER LINER IN ACTION

To demonstrate how the liner works, please see the pic on the left of our Canadian Brown liner with a custom, Erin Rose velveteen tray. Note how the "dead space" in the drawer has been converted to usable space by the liner - for larger pieces like necklaces, bracelets, watches, glasses, pouches and jewelers' boxes..

CHOOSE THE RIGHT TRAY ASSORTMENT

Now that you understand the function of the liner, it’s time to select your trays. There are three tray sizes:

  • Small - 6" x 6" x 2"  (L x W x H) - one tray type

  • Medium - 6" x 12" x 2" (L x W x H) - five tray types

  • Large - 12” x 12” x 2” (L x W x H) - two tray types

The tray sizes are designed to be mixed-and-matched to fit the insides of your drawers - any drawer!

Your jewelry collection will determine which trays you need.

Have a lot of small items like rings, earrings, charms, brooches and small pendants? A 10-compartment (LJO-4) or 18-compartment tray (LJO-3) should work for you.

Have larger items like cuff bracelets, beaded necklaces, long necklaces, glasses and watches? Our 12" x 12" trays - LJO-1o and LJO-11 - might be perfect for your needs.

ANTI-TARNISH TRAY

And if you have pieces that are prone to tarnishing or need extra protection, you can select our lidded tray (#LJO-12) that's lined with anti-tarnish Kenized Silvershield Flannel.

COMBINE YOUR TRAYS

Tray sizes are designed to be combined to create custom storage systems. The tray to the left actually consists of 3 trays: 2 6" x 6" trays and 1 6" x 12" trays.
